Tips For Buying Silk Dresses

Silk dresses are made of silk, and are characterized by high moisture absorption (5%~10%), good breathability, smooth and soft texture, elasticity, natural silk luster, bright and soft. Ignite the fiber, the burning speed is slow, and there is a smell of burning hair. Pull out the silk strips and untwist them, and the filaments are continuous. Silk fabrics are comfortable and cool to wear.
High-quality polyester imitation silk dresses can be mistaken for real ones. The main reason is: most high-grade imitation silks have soft colors, good printing effects, no waxy and plastic feeling, smooth but not weak, and have a fluffy and heavy feeling. The latest imitation silk also has a silk sound.
Compared with real silk dresses, polyester imitation silk dresses have poor moisture absorption, breathability and drape when worn; when wearing imitation silk dresses, they are easy to be adsorbed on the legs when walking, which is due to the poor anti-static effect. The identification of polyester imitation silk fabrics and real silk fabrics can be done by a simple burning identification method. Before burning, pull out a few warp and weft yarns, and moisten the yarn with the tip of your tongue. If the wet part is easy to break, it is viscose yarn. If it breaks in the dry part, it is silk. If it is not easy to break, it is polyester yarn. When burning, polyester yarn melts and shrinks when it is close to the flame, drips and bubbles, and can continue to burn after leaving the flame. A few of them have smoke, and the ash is hard, round, black or light brown. There is a hissing sound when silk burns, and it will extinguish itself when leaving the flame. It is difficult to continue to burn. There is a smell of burning feathers or hair when burning, and the ash is fluffy, black and fragile.
