How to tie a square scarf?

  • 1. Lazy V-shaped drop

Technique: Pick up a corner of the scarf and fold it loosely along the diagonal line to form a long triangle. Put the sharp corner forward to wrap around the neck, and put the two ends behind the neck! No knot! Let the scarf naturally drape into a V-shape.

Skill: Deliberately extend one corner over the waistline, match it with a plain shirt or sweater, and the scarf will flutter when walking!

Secret to prevent it from falling apart: Use a very fine matte brooch to gently fix the inside at the clavicle position (don't poke it through!), so you don't have to worry about it flying away even if the wind is strong.

    2. Single-loop neat knot

Technique: Fold the scarf into a 5cm wide strip and wrap it around the neck. When the two ends cross, pass the upper end diagonally downward from the loop (don't pull it all out!), and gently pull the lower end to adjust the tightness.

The soul: Let the knot be stuck 45 degrees above the clavicle! It is ten times more energetic than the rigid knot in the middle. When matching with a suit, choose a dark blue or gray square scarf with dark patterns, and the silk luster is faintly visible.

Avoid: The tail of the scarf should not exceed the chest line! Otherwise, it will look like two apron strings.

  • 3. Rose pleated knot

Lay the square scarf flat, grab the center point and lift it into an "umbrella shape"

Pinch the "umbrella tip" and wrap it around the index finger twice (like winding wool)

Pull out the finger and use the corner of the scarf to tie a horizontal knot at the bottom of the flower bud

The whole "flower" is pinned sideways next to the second button of the shirt, or clipped in the pocket of the suit

Secret to choosing a scarf: double crepe or chiffon is the most effective! It can be made into a rose that is as soft as real petals.

4. Choker stacking technique
Advanced play: tie a narrow scarf (about 5cm wide) into a choker, and tuck the tail into the collar. Choose another bright-colored small square scarf (recommended 70cm) and tie a mini flat knot 10cm above the choker!
The finishing touch: a piece of skin is faintly visible between the double-layered scarf, which is more flexible than a single-layered one. Especially with a dress with a large neckline.

Silk Scarf

Anti-scattering trick
Anti-static electricity: Before wearing a silk square scarf, lightly spray the hair styling spray on the inside (spray once at a distance of 20cm!), and it will instantly fit and not curl up;
Hidden secret: Use a transparent fishing line hair band to wrap around the inside of the silk scarf twice and then tie a knot, so that it will not scatter no matter how you shake your head.
